CUSTOMER GUIDELINES
Production and artwork guidelines
A great result starts with clear information. This page explains how to supply your logo files and specify the size and placement of printing and embroidery.
You do not need to be an expert in printing techniques. Send us your logo and tell us what you have in mind. We will help you choose the right approach.

01
What information do we need for your order?
To prepare your order for production smoothly, we need the following information:
- Company name and business ID.
- Contact person's name, email address and phone number.
- Product styles and colours.
- Quantities broken down by size.
- Logo or other artwork to be applied.
- Your preferred logo size, colour and placement.
- The date by which the products need to arrive.
- Delivery address and recipient's contact details.
- Billing details and any billing reference or purchase order number.
List each product style and colour separately. For example: Cruiser 2.0, black, S: 5 items, M: 10 items and L: 5 items, 20 items in total.
If you are not yet sure which product, logo size or decoration technique to choose, we can help.
02
Size and placement
Maximum logo and print dimensions
The maximum size for screen printing, DTF transfers and embroidery is 38 × 45 cm. If you would like a larger design, please ask us about the options.
The product style, size and decoration position determine the available area. A cap, sleeve or smaller garment size cannot accommodate a logo as large as the back of an adult shirt, for example. We confirm the appropriate size for each product.
Maximum dimensions for other decoration techniques are checked for the selected product.
How should I specify the logo size?
Specify the required width in centimetres, for example 10 cm. The height follows the logo's original proportions so that it is not stretched or distorted.
The width is measured between the outermost edges of the visible logo. Empty margins in the file are not included.
If a product has several logos, specify the width of each one separately. Also let us know if you would like different print sizes for different garment sizes.
Example widths: 10 cm and 25 cm.
Left chest = the wearer's left side
Where should the logo go?
Specify the position of each logo as clearly as possible:
- Front: left chest, right chest or centre.
- Back: for example, upper back or centre back.
- Sleeve: left or right sleeve.
- Elsewhere: for example, the back of the neck, hem, trouser leg or side of a bag.
Left and right always refer to the wearer's perspective.
You can also send a visual showing the placement. If the position needs to be precise, specify the distance from a clear reference point, such as the bottom seam of the collar to the top edge of the logo.
For hooded garments, we take the lowered hood into account. Pockets, zips, seams and reflective strips can also limit logo placement.
An example of a clear instruction: “A white embroidered logo on the left chest, 10 cm wide. A white print on the back, 25 cm wide, positioned so that the lowered hood does not cover it.”
03
Logo files
What kind of logo file should I send?
Preferably send your original logo as a vector file, such as PDF, AI, EPS or SVG. Vector artwork stays sharp when resized.
The file extension alone does not guarantee vector artwork. A PDF can contain a small bitmap image, for example. If you are unsure, send us the file for checking.
Supply the actual logo and any placement mock-up as separate files. A screenshot or a photo of a finished garment helps explain your idea, but is usually not sufficient production artwork on its own.
If you or your graphic designer prepare the artwork, convert fonts to outlines, also called paths. This preserves the appearance of the text when the file is opened.
Photographs and other image files
Send the highest-resolution image available, at its original size. A good starting point is 300 ppi at the final print size.
Enlarging a small image or simply changing its resolution setting does not add detail. We check whether the artwork is suitable for your chosen print size before production.
Transparent backgrounds
If you do not want a background box around the logo, supply artwork without a background. PNG supports transparency; JPG does not.
A white background and a transparent background are different things. If your logo contains white elements, tell us which parts should be printed in white and which areas should remain unprinted.
04
Logo colours
Specify your preferred logo colours. If you have brand guidelines or Pantone colour codes, include them with the artwork.
If the same logo is used on products in different colours, specify which logo version goes on each. For example, a white logo on a black shirt and a black logo on a white shirt.
A colour shown on a screen is not a precise colour reference on its own. The product material, base colour and decoration technique affect the result. For embroidery, the shade is selected from the available thread colours.
Send the original artwork without additional colour-profile conversions or mirroring. We will advise on any settings required for the chosen technique.
05
Our printing and decoration techniques
Embroidery
Embroidery stitches the logo onto the product using thread. Send us a clear logo, your preferred width and colours. The logo is digitised into an embroidery file for production.
Very small text and fine details may need to be simplified. We check whether they can be reproduced at the requested size. If you already have an embroidery file, we confirm that it is suitable for the selected product and size.
Screen printing
Screen printing applies the design to the product through a printing screen. Preferably supply vector artwork and specify the print colours and any Pantone codes.
Gradients, photographs and very fine details are assessed based on the artwork.
Transfer printing
Transfer printing applies a design to the product using heat. DTF is one of the transfer techniques we use.
Send a vector file or a high-resolution image without an unwanted background. Very thin lines and partially transparent details are checked before production. The appropriate transfer technique is selected to suit the product and artwork.
DTG: direct-to-garment printing
DTG prints the design directly onto the fabric. Supply a high-resolution image at the final print size, as a transparent PNG if needed.
The product material and base colour affect the print result. We confirm the product's suitability and available print area before production.
Sublimation
Sublimation uses heat to transfer colour into a suitable material or coating.
Ask us for a product-specific artwork template, especially for all-over designs. The template defines the print area, any bleed and the safe area for important text and logos.
Pad printing
Pad printing transfers the logo onto a product using a flexible printing pad. It is used for small promotional products, for example.
Preferably supply a vector logo and specify the required print colours. The print area and feasibility of the details are checked for each product.
Reflective transfers
A reflective transfer applies a light-reflecting decoration to the product using heat.
Preferably supply a clear vector logo and tell us that you would like a reflective finish. We check suitable materials, available colours and whether small text and details can be reproduced.
Laser engraving
Laser engraving creates a logo or text on the product's surface using a laser.
Preferably supply a vector logo. The engraved colour depends on the product material and coating, so it cannot be chosen in the same way as a print colour. The engraving area and feasibility of the details are confirmed for each product.
06
Check the proof before production
The proof shows the proposed logo, size and placement on the product. Before approving it, check:
- Product style and colour.
- The correct logo and logo colour version.
- Spelling of text and names.
- Logo width and placement.
- Printing or decoration technique.
- Any product-specific exceptions.
Also confirm the sizes, quantities, delivery address and agreed schedule. If anything needs changing, combine your corrections in one message. After the changes, the updated proof is checked and approved.
A mock-up helps you assess appearance and placement. It is not a physical colour sample.
07
Delivery details and schedule
Tell us the date by which the products need to arrive. If the order is for an event, include the event date as well. We confirm the delivery schedule separately for each order.
For delivery, we need:
- Name of the receiving company.
- Recipient's name and phone number.
- Street address.
- Postcode and city or town.
- Destination country.
- Any parcel marking, such as the event or department name.
Provide the delivery address separately, even if it is the same as the billing address.
If products are being sent to several locations, supply a list of products, sizes and quantities for each address, along with each recipient's contact details.

Frequently asked questions
I do not know whether my logo is suitable for printing. What should I do?
Send us the file you have. We will check it and let you know whether the artwork needs any changes.
I do not have a vector file. Can my logo still be used?
Possibly. It depends on the image quality, required size and decoration technique. Send the artwork for assessment. Any artwork preparation and its cost will be agreed in advance.
Do I need to choose the printing technique myself?
No. Tell us the product, logo and result you have in mind. We will help you choose the right technique.
Can one product have several logos or different decoration techniques?
Yes, where the product allows it. For example, the chest can be embroidered and the back printed. The size, position and technique of each decoration are specified separately.
Can a logo be larger than 38 × 45 cm?
Larger designs are assessed separately. Contact us with the required size and the product on which the design will be used.
Can the logo from a previous order be used again?
Tell us about the previous order and any changes. We will check the saved artwork and any embroidery file for suitability with the new product, size and placement.
